The work we do at Pathways to Learning greatly relies on the support and communication of parents, schools and professional involved in the life of the child, each having the child's best interests at heart.

What is so evident is that Rachael works holistically. She finds the strengths and preferred learning approaches and works from that point. Each programme is unique to the child and encompasses physical and academic skills. Throughout the sessions there is enjoyment and a sense of success

True testament of the effectiveness of a programmes has been shared with me on so many occasions by parents. What I have also loved, are the shared comments by the children who so enjoy their sessions and clearly explain their learning and what their next goals are.

The changes we saw in each child were very encouraging. From a very unsettled, disruptive student to a calm, engaged student. One had trouble tracking words and staying focused when reading. They are now a confident, fluent little reader.

Rachael has helped both my boys throughout their school years. Not only does she give them the strategies and skills to become great learners, she also instils a confidence to know they can achieve.

I am so grateful for the thoughtful and devoted work Rachael has put in to suit the unique learning style of our child. With absolute encouragement she has instilled in him a desire to learn, self-belief and resilience.

It has given us a place of understanding around the uncertainties of having and being a sensitive child. It has unlocked a way forward to sharing concerns with people who listen and make sense, without judgement and offer helpful advice and an insight into what makes some people who they are.

Rachael has the ability to identify the issues that are causing the delays, bad behaviour or lack of progress and then carry out various exercise and activities that help the child to progress and function at a level and in a way that is expected of them at their particular age.

There is now a place to go that encourages growth and understanding and acceptance. It is fun. It is challenging without the fear of not succeeding. There is no right or wrong just a chance to try again and a wonderful sense of encouragement from people dedicated to what they do.

Asserting the positive, accepting that we don't always get it right each time and to not fear to try again.

I am so relieved that we found Rachael and Pathways to Learning. Because of her we have learned so much in a supportive, warm and truly caring environment and she has made an immeasurable difference to our lives.
